Jane Zhang was born on October 11, 1984 and is a Chinese pop singer where she came to prominence after her third-place performance in the 2005 season of the Super Girl contest, a national all-female singing competition in the People’s Republic of China. Throughout the competition, she sang in English, Spanish and Cantonese in addition to Mandarin Chinese. She was given the nickname The Dolphin Princess during the competition for her ability to sing in the whistle register. She was given this nickname because Chinese musicians refer to the whistle register as the dolphin vocal sound due to the similarities between the pitch of the dolphin and the whistle register.

Zhang Li Yin was born on February 28, 1989 in Sichuan, China and is also known by her Korean name Jang Ri-in, is the first and currently the only Chinese solo singer to break into the Korean music industry. Subject to much publicity, Zhang Li Yin has been nicknamed the Chinese BoA and the next leader of the Korean wave. She speaks both Mandarin, which is her first language, and moderate Korean, and has released singles in both Korea and China, singing in both languages.

Amguulan was born on August 30, 1984, and is commonly known as Amulong or Amu. He is a Chinese singer and songwriter of Mongolian descent. He has an official fansite in simplified Chinese, and his own blog in simplified Chinese as well.

Rainie Yang was born on June 4, 1984 and is a popular Taiwanese singer, actress, and talk show host. She began her career as a member of the all-girl singing group 4 in Love, where she was given the stage name of Rainie. 7 Flowers is a Taiwanese female group named so because there were 7 girls in the group but due to personal and contract issues, some of the girls left leaving only 4 in the group. The remaining members of 7 Flowers are:

Ferren Lee-Kelly, popularly known as Coco Lee, is a Chinese-American singer, urban contemporary and dance-pop star, songwriter, record producer, and actress. Born January 17, 1975, she has released a total (as of 2006) of 17 albums, 2 of which are recorded in English. Her singles Do You Want My Love and and Just No Other Way gave Coco Lee a break in the English market.

Jolin Tsai is a Golden Melody Award winning Taiwanese Mandarin-pop or Mandopop singer. She is also one of the most successful and popular singers in the Mandarin music market.

Evonne Hsu was born just a few minutes from Houston, Texas on December 05, 1979. She is an American born Taiwanese pop singer who released her first album in 2002 and has recorded 6 albums to date. The album Evonne Hsu recently released includes a hit song entitled Poem Water Snake Mountain Temple composed by pop guru Jay Chou.

Hins Cheung is a C-pop singer and songwriter in Hong Kong and Guandong, China. Standing 175 cm tall, Hins Cheung currently has a recording contract with Universal Records. And good news for his fans - he’ll become a permanent HK resident by 2011.

Chen Ming is a Chinese pop singer  who began her career in Guangzhou back in 1990. She has released 13 albums including remixes. Her song entitled Loneliness Makes Me Beautiful made her well-known and was even praised as one of the best songs in China.
