Chinese Music

Sammi Cheng (whose real/Chinese name is Cheng Sau Man) was born on August 19, 1972 and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Her entrance to the music industry was through a high profile TV singing contest in 1988 where she was only 16. Although she didn’t win the said contest, the sponsoring record company saw the potential in her and offered her a recording contract.

In May of this year, Sammi held her 6th concert in Hong Kong entitled “Show Mi” and due to the success of the said concert, Sammi also performed in the following countries for her world concert tour:

22 - 23 Jun 2007: Genting Highlands, Malaysia
29 Jun 2007: Toronto, Canada
7 Jul 2007: Las Vegas, US
13 Oct 2007: Singapore
20 Oct 2007: Shanghai, China
